Which crypto tax software fits you?

Including when you don't need any.

An honest note up front: plenty of people don't need paid software. If you made a few sales on one exchange and your 1099-DA shows basis, you can enter it straight into Form 8949. Paid tools earn their price once you have many wallets, transfers between them, or DeFi activity.

Whatever tool you use, sales go on Form 8949 (IRS: About Form 8949) and are checked against your 1099-DA (1099-DA instructions).

Prices change, so check each vendor's pricing page. We don't quote prices here.
